how did you make the voices? larry - boston, ma
Because we wanted the films to seem like real samurai movies, we decided to dub over
the voices, even though we all speak English as our native tongue. So we filmed the actors moving their mouths and then recorded the
audio in post-production to lay over the film we shot.

the quality looks better than tv shows. how did you achieve that? what equipment did you use? Josh - Ashland, KY
We had limited resources
when producing these films, so we used the best cameras we had free access to: Sony DCR-VX2000's. The reason for the sharper image
is because we did not use film. Everything was shot on video. Without going into too much detail, video has a higher frame rate than
traditional film and also has an overall crisper image. Although this is not ideal, we have heard from many people that they like
the video look over traditional film.

I like the
videos alot. You inspired me to make my own movie. Got any advice? Frank - Memphis, TN
That's great to hear Frank! It's an honor to
know we have inspired someone else in their filmmaking endeavors. Of all the things I can think to say, one thing really stands out:
you've gotta have fun. Whether you're making a comedy, a drama, a documentary or a horror movie, you've got to relax and just have
fun in the process. If you make it all about the process, the audience will pick up on it and quickly become bored. Start with a great
script, get the best actors you can afford and have lots of fun!
